What is Word Up Wednesday?

Word Up Wednesday is designed to introduce children, youth, and teens to positive, encouraging, and thought-provoking words. With each video published, our series will help improve students' self-confidence through vocal affirmation. In addition, we aim to assist in vocabulary retention through mid to high-rigor vocabulary words used throughout various contents, classroom, and district assessments. Finally, we aim to bring back love and intrigue for new and unique words from different cultures, societies, and countries worldwide.

With the forever-changing landscape of online media, it is essential to factor in creating content that can be safely consumed by school-age youth. Word Up Wednesday not only entertains through music, rhymes, and poems but also creates a spark of curiosity and intrigue by using low to high-rigor words that can be utilized through everyday conversations, daily affirmations, and encouraging mindsets.
